Discover the wonderful world of honeybees

Did you know the life cycle of bees and the different roles in the hive ?

Did you know that honey bees communicate each other through dancing ?


Experience a day in the life of a beekeeper and learn about the amazing world of honeybees and beekeeping by exploring a living beehive .You will receive an introduction to honeybees and beekeeping  and you will get to experience how to suit up in protective gear, light a bee smoker and get up close with the bees as you watch them at work in their hive.

Bee experiences are weather dependent and available from May until the end of September. 

Springtime  is the best time of year to see the bees in action.

The Beekeeping Experience lasts approximately two hours from start to finish.

What is included :
  • Guided tour of the farm
  • Workshop about hives
  • Visit the apiary (with bee suit)
  • Honey tasting and local products of the farm                                   

                

Important notes :
Sandals or open toed shoes must be avoided.
Pants are required
Do not wear any perfume or  aromas as this can make bees a little upset
